The HP Designjet 800 printer is the professional and robust printer for workgroups of 3 to 10 people in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, mechanical design and geographical information systems. It delivers ultimate line and photo quality with continuous tones, smooth transitions and a wide color gamut. Complete with a "virtual computer" inside, the printer does all of the processing work and immediately frees up your own computer. It comes in two sizes, with a media path that is either 42 inches (107 cm) or 24 inches (61 cm) wide.
The HP Designjet 800 is a robust printer for workgroups of 3 to 10 people and has print times as short as 60 seconds for D-size (A1-size) drawings. It supports queuing and nesting and processes subsequent jobs while printing.
The printer can work unattended with its off-axis, 69-cc ink cartridges, long-life printheads, 150-ft (45-m) media rolls, automatic cutting, and stacking of finished prints in the media bin [optional on the 24-in. (61-cm) model]. The ink cartridges have almost double the ink capacity of previous HP ink cartridges in this category, and printheads last through five to six ink-cartridge changes on average, depending upon usage. |
