Features

The Digitrim automatic cutters feature the ability to sense cut marks placed between multiple digital images printed or exposed simultaneously on paper or any digital media up to around 800gsm.

So how does it work?

The Digitrim senses and cuts parallel with the cut marks placed between images, even if you feed the media at an angle.

Regardless of any slight misalignment when the media is introduced to the Digitrim, the cutter will automatically re-align itself to the cut marks, ensuring perfect results every time.

Both Onyx and Versaworks (as well as other RIP softwares) come with inbuilt options to include Fotoba marks on your outputted prints, making these machines exceptionally easy to start using immediately upon install. The easy to use control panel on the machine allows you to set up the distance between the cuts to allow for bleed, or white borders on prints.

All that is required to be printed/exposed on the paper together with your images is a simple double line as shown above. Whether it is photographic, electrostatic, inkjet, offset, laser etc. the Digitrim will cut it perfectly square every time.
