| Small Business & General Business Tax Breaks | iMedia Spotlight | |
The Government will provide an additional $2.7 billion temporary tax break to small and other businesses to boost business investment. Small businesses will be able to access the tax break for assets costing $1,000 or more. For all other businesses, the asset threshold is $10,000. The tax break provides an additional tax deduction for assets acquired from 13 December 2008 to 30 June 2009, where the asset is also installed before 30 June 2010. The deduction will be equal to 30 per cent of the asset's cost. For assets acquired between 1 July 2009 and 31 December 2009 and where they are installed ready for use before 31 December 2010, the deduction is 10 per cent of the asset's cost. These tax breaks make this the perfect time to take advantage of our fantastic specials available on ex-demo machines! See the bottom right corner of this email for the list of what is currently available. Questions and Answers Who will be assisted?

Each issue of iMedia e-news we will put the spotlight on a member of the team, or an aspect of the iMedia business you might not be familiar with. In this issue Emanuel Baldacchino takes his place under the spotlight ...
An iMedia veteran, Emanuel has been with the company for almost 6 years and still thinks it's fantastic that he gets paid to do one of the things he loves most, talk to people! As our resident hardware sales specialist, he does indeed get to spend his days talking to a lot of different people in varied industries. Outside of work Emanuel is a bit of a food buff and loves trying out new restaurants in out of the way places - like the Pink Umbrella in Yarraville where he was delighted to find both snails and rabbit on the menu, although not incorporated into the same dish! |

| NEW PRODUCT! HP L65500 Latex Printer | Special Offers | |
Featuring printing speeds of up to 846 ft²/h, it is environmentally friendly and uses odourless, aqueous latex inks in six colours. Able to print on a wide range of substrates including most low-cost, uncoated, solvent-compatible substrates, it also requires no special ventilation and produces no hazardous waste. The three-litre ink cartridges mean having to change ink cartridges less frequently, and when you do have to, they can be changed while printing. A popular feature in many HP printers is their ability to accurately and consistently reproduce a wide gamut of colours, with automatic colour calibration via the built-in spectrophotometer and the L65500 certainly makes use of these features. It’s ability to produce durable prints with outdoor display permanence of up to three years unlaminated (five years laminated) make this a desirable printer for use in outdoor signage industries as well as many other printing environments. |
