in 1992,the company then known as Mosfax, (Now iMedia
Imaging Supplies) was a leading manufacturer and converter
of thermal fax rolls and cash register rolls, servicing
the stationery trade as well as the drawing office industry
with thermal plotter rolls for the first generation
of thermal plotters.
In
1998 with decline in thermal fax Mosfax turned its
attention to the growing inkjet market and started
to convert plain paper plotter rolls for the architectural
and engineering markets and the large format copier
market for plan duplication. We also started to make
inroads into the higher quality inkjet market with
coated inkjet medias for point of sale, display, signage
and proofing markets.
In
early 2000 the company went through an ownership change
and in July 2000, iMedia Imaging Supplies was established,
building on the already strong foundation that was
left by the previous entity.
In
the short space of 4 years iMedia Imaging supplies
has become one of the leading suppliers to emerging
large format digital printing industry, distributing
media’s, large format printers, software and
general consumables.
iMedia
Imaging Supplies is now an authorized dealer for some
of the most recognized brand names in the industry,
SynaJet (iMedia’s own brand of inkjet media’s)
Magic (Rexam), Omnijet by Ilford, Hp printers and
consumables, Pantone, Roland Water based and Eco-Solvent
Printers, vinyl cutters, engravers, routers and supplies
As well as software packages for rips such as Onyx
Postershop and Photoprint and Flexi Sign signage software.
